Three Ways To Use (and reuse) Your Aromatherapy Spray - Including Recipes.

What I love most about our essential oil sprays is the fact they are so versatile. They retail as an essential oil spray for the face and body, but did you know they can be used in a variety of other ways? Because they come in protective glass bottles they can also be reused over and over again - reusable and versatile, woooaah!!

Here are three additional ways you can use your essential oil sprays. I have also included DIY recipes for you to experiment making your own.

Five Ways To Use (and reuse) Your Aromatherapy Spray

1. Pillow Spray

Such a easy addition to your bedtime routine. Simply spritz DREAM or PEACE WITHIN over your pillow before bed and inhale the scent deeply. The perfect way to unwind before bed.

DIY Recipe (for a 30ml spray bottle)

30ml of distilled water

8 drops of Lavender

4 drops of Bergamot

3 drops of Frankincense

A pinch of epsom salts (to help emulsify)

Make sure to dissolve the epsom salts into the distilled water before adding in the essential oils. Shake well and spray on pillow and linens for fresh and relaxing aroma.

2. Yoga Mat Cleanser

A great natural anti-bacterial spray that will leave your mat smelling amazing ready for your next yoga session.

DIY Recipe (for a 30ml spray bottle)

25ml of distilled water

5ml of Rubbing Alcohol or Perfumery Alcohol

* pinch of epsom salt

3 drops of Lavender

5 drops of Eucalyptus

3 drops of Lemon

3 drops of Tea Tree

Make sure to dissolve the epsom salts into the distilled water before adding in the essential oils. Shake well and spray over both sides of your yoga mat, leave for a few minutes then wipe down mat.

3. Air Freshener

Most air fresheners you find in the stores are synthetic based fragrance. These are man-made scents usually deprived from the by product of petroleum. They contain known toxic ingredients which can cause skin, respiratory and endocrine issues, as well as some being carcinogenic. Natural fragrance is always a much safer, healthier option. Essential oil sprays are great to use as a natural air freshener.

DIY Recipe (for a 30ml spray bottle)

25ml distilled water

5ml of Rubbing Alcohol or perfumery Alcohol

* pinch of epsom salt

10 drops of Lemon

5 drops of Balsam Fir

3 drops of Mandarin

Make sure to dissolve the epsom salts into the distilled water before adding in the essential oils. Shake well and spray around your home.
